Founder of CV. NexVentura, the licensed local tour operator behind RamayanaBallet.com. Based in Yogyakarta, writing about Prambanan, the Ramayana Ballet and travelling across Indonesia.
Who is Tinton Arya Sasmita?
Tinton Arya Sasmita is the founder of CV. NexVentura, a licensed local tour operator based in Yogyakarta. He started the company in 2019 with a simple idea: travellers should experience Indonesia with local people who know the places, the roads and the stories behind them.
RamayanaBallet.com is part of the NexVentura family of destination websites. The site exists to help visitors understand the Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan — the schedule, the seating, the venue and the practical details — before they book a tour package.
Tinton has documented his own travels across Indonesia on his personal blog, alabackpacker.com. That first-hand travel experience shapes how the NexVentura team plans itineraries: realistic timing, comfortable transfers, and enough space to actually enjoy the destination.
What he works on
The team’s work is focused on cultural and natural experiences around Yogyakarta, with the Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan as one of its core evening programmes.
Ramayana Ballet evenings
Ticket classes, venue changes, pickup timing and the practical details that make the evening run smoothly.
Cultural tours
Prambanan Temple, Borobudur, the Sultan Palace, Tamansari and the city’s food and craft traditions.
Private transport
Hotel pickup, driver coordination, restaurant timing and the return journey after the show.
A local team, not a call centre
NexVentura is a local operator. The people who answer your questions are the same people who coordinate the drivers and guides on the night. That is deliberate: it keeps the information close to the ground.
What we check
- The official performance schedule before confirming a date
- Seat class availability with the ticket provider
- Pickup time based on your hotel and the evening traffic
- Whether the show is indoors or outdoors that month
What we do not claim
- We are not the official ticket office
- We do not guarantee a specific seat number
- We do not control the official schedule
- We do not publish invented first-person stories
Read our editorial policy for how we research, verify and correct information on this site.
