This tour package offers travelers the opportunity to explore two of Yogyakarta’s most iconic landmarks, Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, experience the cultural significance of the Ramayana Ballet, a traditional Javanese dance performance, and enjoy dinner at Rama Shinta Resto with a beautiful view of Prambanan Temple.
*Special Note* : The Ramayana Ballet Show is performed only every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Friday, the Roro Jonggrang Ballet Performance will be presented instead. Kindly contact us in advance to confirm the performance availability. The open-air or outdoor show is only available during the dry season from May to October. From November to April, the performance will be held indoors.

Itinerary
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Hotel pick-up within the Yogyakarta area, then proceed to Borobudur Temple.
- 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Explore the magnificent Borobudur Temple and learn about its history and significance from the expert guide.
- 01:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant.
- 02:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Drive to Prambanan Temple.
- 03:30 PM – 05:30 PM: Visit the magnificent Hindu temple of Prambanan and learn about its history and significance from the expert guide.
- 06:00 PM – 07:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious dinner at Rama Shinta Resto with the beautiful backdrop of Prambanan Temple. Abhaya Giri Restaurant will be the second option if Rama Shinta Resto is fully booked.
- 07:30 PM – 09:30 PM: Experience the cultural significance of the Ramayana Ballet, a traditional Javanese dance performance.
- 09:30 PM – 10:00 PM: Return transfer to the hotel. End of services!

- The Ramayana Ballet is only available on certain days. Please check the schedule in advance.
- All tours are based on private tours. Departure and return are from Yogyakarta. Transfer or drop-off to other cities is available as an optional service.
- Money Issues: You will need Indonesian currency (IDR) for your holiday in Indonesia. Please ensure that you have suitable denominations of Rupiah notes. Magnificent and informative tour!
We had a great afternoon and evening with Borobudur Sunrise! A tour of the Prambanan temple complex as the sun went down with a very knowledgeable guide. This was followed by a lovely dinner with view on the Prambanan, followed by the magnificent Ramayana ballet outdoor with the Prambanan temples as background decor. Everything was perfectly organised and went smoothly with nice thoughtful details such as drink vouchers, really good seating at the Ramayana ballet. Mr Hanif, the Borobudur Sunrise owner accompanied us through this all with much enthusiasm and information. Thank you!

Very well organized & beatiful tour.
The tour was amazing. Everything about is was well organized. Pick-up at the hotel was well on time. We just had to follow, everything was taken care of. Our driver Faisal was very friendly and pleasant and helped us to get around and everywhere on time. The diner was also very tasty, we just had to pur our feet under the table. I would recommend taking these tours, very professional.

An unforgettable experience
This was a fabulous tour with our guide Wahyu ensuring that we knew exactly where we needed to be when. He certainly looked after us and we had an amazing trip to Prambanan with the most stunning sunset, an excellent buffet dinner and then great seats to the Ramayana ballet which was an unforgettable experience on its own. Do not miss Prambanan and if you have time also visit the Buddhist temples on this site. The Ramayana ballet was a special treat. I am so happy that I added that onto the trip. It’s an incredible performance in a spectacular location!
