This tour package offers travelers the opportunity to explore the geological history of Mount Merapi through a Lava Tour by 4×4 Jeep, visit the magnificent Hindu temple of Prambanan at sunset, and experience the cultural significance of the Ramayana Ballet, a traditional Javanese dance performance. The tour also includes dinner at Rama Shinta Resto, a fine-dining restaurant with a romantic view of Prambanan Temple.

*Special Note* : The Ramayana Ballet Prambanan is performed only every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Friday, the Roro Jonggrang Ballet Performance will be presented instead. Kindly contact us in advance to confirm the performance availability. The open-air or outdoor show is only available during the dry season from May to October. From November to April, the performance will be held indoors.

Itinerary

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Hotel pick-up within the Yogyakarta area, then proceed to the Merapi Jeep Basecamp. Lunch can be arranged before the tour.
• 12:30 PM – 02:30 PM: Explore the geological history and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Merapi on a Lava Tour by 4×4 Jeep, with stops at Sisa Hartaku Museum, Alien Stone, and Bunker Kaliadem.
• 02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Drive to Prambanan Temple.
• 03:30 PM – 05:30 PM: Visit the magnificent Hindu temple of Prambanan, learn about its history and significance from the expert guide, and enjoy the stunning sunset from the temple.
• 06:00 PM – 07:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious dinner at Rama Shinta Resto. Abhaya Giri Restaurant will be the second option if Rama Shinta Resto is fully booked.
• 07:30 PM – 09:30 PM: Experience the cultural significance of the Ramayana Ballet, a traditional Javanese dance performance.
• 09:30 PM: Return transfer to the hotel. End of services!

• We are flexible with payment methods. We accept cash (USD, IDR, EUR), bank transfer, or PayPal.
• For payment via PayPal, an additional 3% fee applies due to the low conversion rate.
• If you book more than one month prior to the tour date, we require at least a 20% down payment of the total amount as confirmation, or according to an agreement between both parties.
• Hotel pick-up and drop-off are available within Yogyakarta City (hotels or train station).
• Hotel pick-up and drop-off from outside Yogyakarta City are considered an additional service.
• Airport pick-up or drop-off at Yogyakarta International Airport is considered an additional service.
• Our drivers are able to speak English well and can explain the culture and traditions of Java Island and Indonesia in general during the tour. They can also provide advice about local things and activities. However, our drivers are not allowed to enter the temples. If you would like to learn more about the history of the temples in detail, you may hire a local guide available at each temple, or book a local guide as an add-on when booking our tours.
• Some of our tours already include a local guide. Kindly double-check the inclusions and exclusions for your selected tour.
• You may stop for lunch during the trip. Our driver will normally suggest local food that you may wish to try. Meal expenses are not included in the tour.

• Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for walking.
• The Ramayana Ballet is only available on certain days. Please check the schedule in advance.
• All tours are based on private tours. Departure and return are from Yogyakarta. Transfer or drop-off to other cities is available as an optional service.
• Money Issues: You will need Indonesian currency (IDR) for your holiday in Indonesia. Please ensure that you have suitable denominations of Rupiah notes. In Indonesia, credit cards are generally accepted for expenses at hotels and restaurants. However, small shops and small-town eateries in the countryside may only accept cash.
